— Management Team

It all began with their Mom spending time in the garden with her children on her landscaping adventures! Learning to garden at an early age, every window sill began to fill up with starts, and their love of gardening began to flourish.

    Jon Aflatooni

    Founder

Jon’s love of plants, landscape design, and gardening began at a young age. He learned to garden and propagate plants from his Mom, and worked alongside her in their home’s garden where over a 100 different varieties of roses grow. (Among many other types of plants.)

After graduating high school, Jon volunteered for two years in the Gardens Department at the Bahá’í World Center in Haifa, Israel. (These gardens consist of a diversity of landscape styles and beauty.)

He then returned home and continued his studies in horticulture. Blacklotus Landscaping was the natural evolution of these processes and the energy and support of family.

Jon loves Blacklotus, it’s supporters, and his co-workers. He aims to create beautiful and functional outdoor spaces that are an extension of your home and the natural environment.
