Comprehensive Design Packages
Full-fledged designs, including an initial 1-hour in-person design consult with a member of our design team. Often, we will fly a drone to take a realistic overhead image of your landscape and home and design over the top of this image alongside continued communication via phone and email to flesh out ideas. Then, draw the design either by hand or with computer software, and finalize it with a full-scale architecture PDF version and a large print version.
Revisions can occur as needed before the last step is completed. All designs will be accompanied by a plant list and all relevant information for a detailed and thorough landscape contractor bid to be created. We typically design landscapes that are sustainable, low-maintenance, provide seasonal interest, require little to no pruning, and will thoroughly enhance the overall beauty, function, and health of the space.
These designs are approximately to scale. Where elements are located on the paper will generally match closely to where they end up in the finished landscape, with some creative flexibility involved during the installation phase. Most full-fledged designs are priced in the range of $ 2,500-$3,000 for a design fee, plus tax.
Rough Idea Sketching and Vision Drawings
A simpler version of the above design process can be conducted to convey the general major elements of a project bid already completed. These rough sketches are meant to give a general idea of the placement of the various elements of the project and to communicate the overall vision for everyone involved in the process. They are not to scale, so the proportions will not match exactly what is seen in the landscape. These range from $500-750.

Many customers schedule these on a recurring basis, depending on their needs, with 2-4 visits per year being typical and extremely useful for ensuring the longevity of the landscape.
